Intuitive Career Managment

Career Management is always in a fluid state because it is about people and work and they both change. It has moved from a SWOT analysis approach in the 1980s to one in the 1990s to include personal motivations. This was a time when people were encouraged to manage their own development by organisations but only the elite shown how. In this decade, the first of 21st Century, values, meaning and inspiration are becoming drivers for people. Some are experiencing a call to take on roles that will make a difference to the uncertain world we live in. Fast changes in the world means sectors, jobs and roles are disappearing for the many, new ones are emerging, and career structures are not as clear as they were. Organisations too are part of the uncertainty.

Responsibility for careers is now clearly with the individual. Yet people are often too busy to think about their work, and lack both the self awareness and an up to date knowledge of what is happening in their worlds to make informed decisions about future options.

Intuitive Career Management helps people see their career differently. It is about combining both tried and tested career management processes with inner wisdom. We all have inner wisdom as a guide and inspiration, if we listened to it or knew how to listen to it.

I know from practical experience as a career coach that now is the time to understand more about our intuition, and have the guts to listen to its message to apply to our work and career so we use our talents to make a difference to the world in meaningful, inspiring and authentic ways.

Intutive Career Management is for you and others to find a place in the world. It is for people who need to take on leadership in organisations, as we know them in the traditional way and also the new ones that are emerging. It is for the person doing the 'simplest' of jobs paid or voluntary as without them, things would not happen.

It is for those at the leading edge of change, encouraging them to follow their gut and do what they need to do to have 'and ' in their vision..... work to make profits and develop their staff and invest in R&D and create sustainability in the world and be inspirational. It is also for the person who thinks they have nothing to give because they have..... when they are themselves, in touch with what they have to offer humanity.
